Short bio
Mark Johnson is the founder of Rowset, a small data company in Atlanta, and the builder of CompKitchen. He tests whether AI gives the right answer. His public benchmark, the Pushback Test, checks whether chatbots stick with urgent-care advice when a parent pushes back. He has two workshop papers accepted for December 2026, at ML4PS and at the NeurIPS AIDaR workshop. He led the "Flavor Illusion" workshop at TEDxAtlanta 2026.
What I can talk about
- What chatbots do with urgent-care advice when a parent pushes back or pastes in a nurse-line note
- Testing AI-written code and analysis against answers you already know
- Flavor chemistry and food data, and where "AI flavor" claims oversell
